I AM HOPE
Life is seldom a masterpiece... at least not the way we typically think of it. It has rough edges, gnarled imperfections, jagged cracks, and is sometimes just barely pieced together. But God, the great I AM, enters into that life with the purpose of reconciliation and relationship with us. This is our hope. The work before you serves as a metaphor: God takes the broken and sometimes ugly "canvas" of our lives, depicted here by a rugged pallet, and makes something beautiful. Sometimes you have to look hard and long to see it, but God weaves hope into the fabric of our lives. The words "I AM" and "Hope" are repeated eighteen times in this mandala's design.
"Rejoice in the Lord always I will say it again rejoice"
Look closely and you will see that the word "rejoice" is repeated
twice inside the word "Lord" which is written 4 times.
"Sacrifice" is the word this person is meditating on this year and the sunflower is her favorite flower. Together these make up the image of a cross.
